	Ula Power Upgrade - Turbine Life Assessment The Ula Complex comprises four electrically interconnected platforms; Living Quarters, Drilling, Production, and Wellhead. Electric power is generated on the LQ platform via three Siemens Gas Turbine generators. A Conceptual Study was carried out to investigate options for upgrading the power generation and control systems on the platform to extend its life to 2028. With three units online, the total power distribution capability is 37 MW. The Drilling/Production platform is directly connected to the LQ generator switchboard. The Wellhead platform is supplied from the Drilling platform via a 22 kV subsea cable. The scope of work included investigating a number of options to upgrade the gas turbine generator sets and utilities as well as the control system on the Ula Platform while minimising the shutdown period. Each case was to be documented with work description, execution plan, weight estimate, cost estimate, and manhour estimate associated with the upgrade.
