Statoil - Preparation and Updating of System and Operations Documentation (SO)

SO Documentation includes the technical documentation and information which is required to operate the installation in a safe and efficient manner. The documentation comprises descriptions of the installation and all systems – i.e. design, function and control, and even more important – procedures and instructions for how the plant shall be started, operated, controlled and shut down safely.

The Frame Agreement applies for and is available for all Statoil assets and dedicated M&M contractors (Modification & Maintenance). The call-offs will be requested from the individual Statoil unit or applicable M&M Contractor of each asset.

The agreement is established to ensure consistent and updated SO documentation which is a mandatory requirement from the authorities in order to ensure that operation is executed according to current design and condition of the installation at all times.
